Who is responsible for your information?
Minister's Cross Autos Ltd, trading as M-Buildz (company number 661727), is the controller of the personal information we use to run this store and handle your orders and enquiries. Contact admin@m-buildz.com or write to Ballyliddan West, Sixmilebridge, Co. Clare, V95 NT20, Ireland.
Information we use and why
- Orders and enquiries: your name, email, phone number, billing and delivery addresses, order details and messages. We use these to answer your requests, supply your purchases and manage returns, relying on steps you request before a contract and performance of that contract.
- Payments and records: payment status, transaction references and order records are used to administer purchases and meet our legal record-keeping obligations. Payment details entered at checkout are processed through the payment service shown there. Do not send payment-card or bank details by email or the contact form.
- Security: technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, access logs and transaction signals may be used to keep the store secure and prevent fraud. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting customers and our business, balanced against your rights.
- Store use: Shopify supplies our store technology and analytics. Cookies support functions such as the cart, checkout and preferences. Non-essential analytics or marketing technologies require consent where applicable. We do not currently use analytics or marketing tools outside Shopify.
Information needed to process an order or answer an enquiry must be provided for us to do so. Other information is optional unless the form states otherwise. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us about your privacy choices; use the store's cookie controls where displayed and any unsubscribe link in a marketing message.
Who receives information?
Shopify hosts the store and processes information to provide its services. Order information is shared as needed with payment services and delivery providers involved in your purchase. Professional advisers and public authorities may receive information where required for accounting, legal obligations or the protection of legal rights. We share only information needed for the relevant purpose.
Shopify may also process information as a controller for its own services, including enhanced services where enabled. Its purposes and your choices are explained in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and Shopify Privacy Portal. Links to our social accounts take you to services governed by their own privacy notices.
International processing and retention
Shopify and its service providers may process information outside Ireland and the European Economic Area. Applicable safeguards include adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses, as described in Shopify's Data Processing Addendum. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
We retain order and transaction records for the period required by accounting and other applicable legal obligations and for handling returns or legal claims. We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the enquiry and any resulting dispute. Account, consent and security information is retained while needed for the relevant service, preferences or security purpose, subject to legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information, the purpose and applicable legal requirements.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in data protection law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can object to direct marketing and withdraw consent at any time. Email admin@m-buildz.com to exercise your rights. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before responding.
You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or your local supervisory authority. We update this notice when our practices change and show the revision date above.
